Web-Based Technical Support Included
We offer free web-based technical support to all users, provided you are using a supported browser (see below). We make every effort to respond to all support inquiries within 24 hours during regular business hours (M–F 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM PST). Please note that web-based technical support is not available during weekends, business holidays and outside of normal business hours.
To submit a support request, please log in to your ReadySetAuction account and visit the ReadySetAuction Help Desk by clicking the Help link at the top of the page.
If you cannot log in due to a forgotten password, you may reset your password.
If you cannot log in due to a forgotten user name, please contact your ReadySetAuction Administrator, who can provide you with your user name.
If you are the ReadySetAuction Administrator for your organization, and you have forgotten your user name, click here for assistance.
Important: In order to receive a response to your emailed support question, you must include the following information in your request:
- your name
- your organization’s name
- name of the event you are working in (if applicable)
- operating system you are using, including its version number
- web browser you are using, including its version number
- detailed problem description – be as specific as possible regarding the particular problem you are experiencing
Premium Auction Day/Night Support Available by Request
We offer the option of live phone-based support during your auction gala live event should you request it. This is a premium service that must be requested no later than two weeks prior to your auction. The cost for this service is a $50 reservation fee plus $25 per incident.
If you are a current customer and would like to reserve live phone-based support during your auction gala event, check off Gala Event Phone Support on page 1 of your original Services Agreement and re-fax the complete Services Agreement to us.

ReadySetAuction recommends the excellent free Firefox (Windows/Mac/Linux) and Camino (Mac-only) web browsers.
We strive for maximum compatibility with a broad array of popular web browsers. However, we cannot guarantee that the ReadySetAuction service is fully compatible with every possible combination of computer hardware, operating system and web browser.
In order to qualify for technical support, you must be using a web browser that appears on the list below.
Windows XP

Supported Credit Card Readers
ReadySetAuction’s Auction Cashier module, when used in conjunction with a ReadySetAuction-compatible merchant account, allows you to process credit card transactions in real-time during your auction gala event.
Magnetic card readers are small inexpensive devices that attach to your computer’s USB port and allow you to swipe credit cards just as you would at the grocery store. Using a card reader will be faster and more accurate than manually typing the credit card information into ReadySetAuction.
ReadySetAuction tests and certifies a small number of card readers from major manufacturers. If you choose a ReadySetAuction-certified card reader, you can be confident that your card reader will be compatible with ReadySetAuction. Of course, you should still test your card readers prior to your event in order to discover any hardware defects in your readers.
A non-certified card reader may work fine as well. In general, most modern USB card readers that scan tracks 1 & 2 will probably work in their default configuration. However, ReadySetAuction makes no guarantees regarding compatibility of non-certified card readers and cannot directly support the use of such models.
