About the Online Bidding Transaction Fee

  • Online Bidding Transaction (OBT) Fee is applied to each online package’s highest online bid and, if using Premier Service, the selling price of an online fixed-price package.
  • A minimum OBT Fee of $1 will apply to each online package that receives at least one online bid and to each sale of a fixed-price package from your auction website.
  • If an online package receives no online bids, then no OBT Fee applies.
  • The sum of all packages’ OBT Fees is capped at $1,500.
  • OBT Fee does NOT apply to the following Premier Service features: online ticket sales, online sponsorship sales, and online cash donations.

About the Auction Cashier Transaction Fee

  • Auction Cashier Transaction (ACT) Fee based on ‘Event Auction Sales.’ ‘Event Auction Sales’ means the total dollar amount of all packages sold and processed via the Auction Cashier, including but not limited to: silent and live auction packages, fixed-price packages, raffle tickets and cash donations. ‘Event Auction Sales’ does not include: proceeds from the sale of admission tickets, cash/sponsorship donations recorded as donations prior to the event, or proceeds from packages sold during online bidding which are closed out separately from the Auction Cashier.
  • There is a $300 minimum ACT Fee collected at time of purchase.
  • ACT Fee is capped at $1,500. That is, no ACT Fee on Event Auction Sales that exceed $100,000.
  • Auction Cashier Add-On Module must be purchased no later than 10 business days prior to event date, or late fee will apply.
  • Credit card processing or gateway fees are in addition to the ReadySetAuction ACT Fee. Click for more information about integrating a merchant account with ReadySetAuction.
